Advanced First Aid Instructor Continuing Education on March 31st

Hundreds of advanced first aid instructors gathered at the Red Cross to enhance their proficiency in first aid.

In order to enhance the quality of first aid training, the "Advanced First Aid Instructor Continuing Education" event for the year 2024 was held on March 31 in the large conference room on the 6th floor of Taiwan Red Cross Humanitarian Park. A total of 110 advanced first aid instructors from across Taiwan and 18 service volunteers gathered together to participate in educational training. The content of today's course was diverse and rich, including trauma, bandaging technique practice, CPR+AED technique workshops, as well as explanations on the positioning and revision of first aid promotion materials by our organization. The advanced instructors actively shared practical first aid experiences and exchanged ideas during each session, benefiting greatly from the mutual interaction.

Coinciding with the completion of our humanitarian education center, a special arrangement was made for all advanced instructors to visit the exhibition area to learn about the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. Ms. Eva Chang, Director of the Communication and Development Department of our organization, was also present at the venue to introduce the exhibition hall. Furthermore, due to the distinctive identity, exclusivity, and international credibility of the Red Cross emblem, which is often misused or abused, Secretary General Ning-Pal Kao was invited to explain the uniqueness and usage regulations of the Red Cross emblem, urging all parties to refrain from misusing, impersonating, or abusing the Red Cross emblem, and to collectively safeguard its identity, exclusivity, and international credibility.

Through today's continuing education course, the advanced instructors not only enhanced their personal proficiency in first aid, but also gained a deeper understanding of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, as well as the uniqueness and usage regulations of the Red Cross emblem.
